Propulsores de paz

"Es mejor que encuentren la fuerza en el rezo" esto nos dijo la Schwester (hermana, monja) Nicola del monasterio Gerlisberg en Lucerna, cuando le fuimos a visitar. Ella nos preguntó cómo estamos y le contamos un poco sobre cómo nos iba a cada uno. Yo llevé a mis padres, los dos de 81 años.

Muy emocionado por ver a nuestra amiga monja, comenzamos a hablar sobre la paz mundial y los conflictos y dificultades que pasa el mundo en este momento. La hermana Nicola nos contó sobre el santo suizo hermano Klaus, quien es el que peleó siempre por la paz en Suiza.

Fue muy reconfortante escucharla y sentir su paz. Su mensaje fue “seamos cada uno un mensajero de paz” en estos tiempos , donde los conflictos están a flor de piel , pienso que guardar la calma y la fe es importantísimo.

Seamos todos propulsores de paz entre nosotros, con la familia, en el trabajo y con el prójimo. Es muy probable que ya no se vuelvan a encontrar la hermana Nikola y mis padres , pero nos llevamos su calor y su mensaje que ahora les transmito a ustedes.

Fear doesn’t help.

“It’s better that they find their strength in prayer,” this is what Sister Nicola from the Gerlisberg Monastery in Lucerne told us when we went to visit her.

She asked us how we were doing, and we shared a little about how things were going for each of us. I took my parents, both 81 years old. Very moved to see our friend the nun, we began to talk about world peace and the conflicts and difficulties the world is going through at this moment.

Sister Nicola told us about the Swiss saint Brother Klaus, who always fought for peace in Switzerland. It was very comforting to listen to her and feel her peace. Her message was, “let each of us be a messenger of peace.” In these times, when conflicts are so close to the surface, I think keeping calm and holding on to faith is extremely important.

Let’s all be promoters of peace among ourselves, with our families, at work, and with those around us.

It’s very likely that Sister Nicola and my parents will not see each other again, but we carry her warmth and her message, which I am now sharing with you.
